I have met so many wonderful and talented people during my time so far at university. Even though socialization has become more difficult than Dante's trilogy trek, I have been blessed to know some incredible souls during this accursed plaguetime. As I have gotten more wrapped up in the literature department and in one of the literary magazines at my school, AmLit, I have befriended other fellow creative writing students that I appreciate a lot. I would like to highlight and direct you to their breathtaking work.
The first classmate I would like to mention is Anne Przypyszny. We have had a couple of classes together and we collaborated on the art section of AmLit together for a year. Annie has had her poetry published in multiple locations including AmLit. She is such a bright friendly soul and I am really honored to know her. Please check out some of her poetry here:
The second classmate I would like to mention is Grace Hasson. I have also connected with her through AmLit and we are both currently attending a class together this semester. Grace has published her first poetry book called Into the Orange Grove, and she has also released some of her work in AmLit. Grace is so kind and observant and I am so glad that I am getting to know her better. Please check out her poetry book available on Kindle or paperback here:
Lastly, I would like to share the link to the AmLit page. You can find work written by Annie, Grace, and some of my art published in the various issues of our university's literary magazine.
I think that it is so important for me to do what I can to support the writers I know. Not only do I love their work, but I hope that I can share that joy with you too. AmLit is free to peruse online and I know that Annie and Grace would both appreciate you taking some time out of your day to read their work. Neither of them know that I am writing this (I am not sure if they even know I have a website) for I just feel compelled to do so! They have truly inspired me.
Kindness and creativity go a long way.
I wish them both the best in all of their endeavors! :)
Thank you for your support.
