The Sunflower Coalition: Fundraising Event!

I am so pleased to share that I have been volunteering with a new organization called The Sunflower Coalition. It is a nonprofit which is dedicated to fundraising, providing community outreach programs, and distributing information about the ongoing war in Ukraine. Currently, The Sunflower Coalition is running two campaigns.

In the wake of the tragic destruction of the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital and other locations in Ukraine, a fundraiser for medical supplies has started called Sunflower Angels: https://donorbox.org/sunflower-angels-emergency-relief-for-kids

There is also an ongoing project called Whistles for Ukraine which distributes whistles to civilians around the country especially partnering with schools and communities so that they have a better chance of being found and rescued after disaster strikes. Some of these whistles have already been dispersed to people in Kyiv during the Okhmatdyt recovery. https://thesunflowercoalition.org/?page_id=59

Although we are new, The Sunflower Coalition is run by a group of dedicated international volunteers in Ukraine and abroad. Together, we put our collective efforts in providing humanitarian aid, fundraising, and supporting the people of Ukraine however we can during this horrific war around the clock.
